Our Faculty

Our faculty members, with their diverse educational and personal background bring to this campus a rich variety of knowledge and experience that contributes to global awareness and a better understanding of education. HAPS teachers have a commitment to students that stretches from classroom to dinning room to athletic field and every place in between.

They share the joy of a child who has worked hard to complete a project, and the spirit of a winning team. They know when to listen, when to advice and when to simply give the children time to sort through things on their own. They are Determined, Dedicated and Demonstrative.

Who We Are

Our inspiration

“Education is the basis of all progress. It is not that you read a book, pass an examination and finish with education. The whole of life, from the moment you are born to the moment you die, is a process of learning.”
J krishnamurti

The Mallikarjun Group of institutions has been founded on the fond memory of Late Sri Mallikarjun Joshi.

Mr. Joshi dreamt of an educated and aware society where he believed that the future belongs to those who are inquires, knowledgeable, thinkers, principled, effective communicators, open minded, risk takers and reflective. He dreamt of individuals who could contribute to make this world a better place for the generations to come.

We, at the Mallikarjun group of institutions, aim to fulfill his dreams by living up to all his believes and expectations.

Responsibility

In the last three decades American educators have been heavily concerned with student rights and equal educational opportunity. These and other concerns have caused educators (and the public) to give teachers the primary responsibility for student learning and have drawn attention away from questions about the student’s responsibility for learning.

Two recent approaches attribute the ultimate responsibility for learning to the student. These general approaches are constructively criticized so that the key insights can be used to set and articulate a defensible theory of student responsibility. The major conclusion is that high-school students have both aright to an education and responsibility to use educational resources sensibly
